Event Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Pilo occasionally participates in, organizes, or sponsors trail runs, dog hikes, pop-up events, and community activities. This policy outlines terms for participation in Pilo-affiliated events.
Participation Requirements
Human participants must be 18 or older, or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Dogs must be current on vaccinations, leashed unless in a designated off-leash area, and under control at all times. Aggressive dogs may be asked to leave for the safety of all participants.
Liability Waiver
Participation in Pilo events requires signing a liability waiver. Trail activities carry inherent risks. By attending, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Pilo is not liable for injury, illness, property damage, or loss resulting from participation.
Photography & Media
Events may be photographed or filmed for Pilo’s marketing, website, and social media. By attending, you grant Pilo a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your likeness and your dog’s likeness in such materials. To opt out, notify a Pilo team member at check-in.
Cancellations
Pilo reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control. Registered participants will be notified by email as soon as possible.
Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to treat fellow trail-goers, dogs, and the environment with respect. Harassment, littering, or disruptive behavior will result in removal from the event.
