Our story
We built the boots we wished existed for our own trail dogs.
Pilo started on the trails around Bend, Oregon. Our founders — obsessive hikers with equally obsessive dogs — kept running into the same problem: boots that spun off in the first mile, or sat so stiff the dog refused to move. So we built our own.
Every product is trail-tested over 200+ miles before it earns the Pilo name. We work with a small team of field testers and their dogs in the Pacific Northwest, the Rockies, and the Texas Hill Country.
